A little boy had a big brother who liked to tease him. “You are so small. You are never going to big and strong, like me!” the older brother would sneer, and poke fun at his little brother.
The boy’s mother would often discipline the older brother and explain to both boys that they were made specially and wonderfully inside and out. The little brother grew bigger and bigger! Soon, he was taller than his older brother.
He remembered all the times his brother had teased him, but he also remembered all the times their mother had promised that they were built with a special purpose.
“You know, Bro. Maybe God knew I needed to know what it feels like to be the little brother for once, which is why He let you grow so tall.”
The younger brother smiled, and said, “Yeah, but don’t forget what Mom always said, “No matter your size, God made you just the way you were supposed to be made.”
As they aged the brothers became the best of friends, and both walked in the promise that they were wonderfully made by God.
Psalm 139:14 – I praise you God, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
