“The Lord knows the thoughts of man.” Psalms 94:11
“Your teddy’s NOT real,” Squirmles tried to explain.
“It’s doesn’t matter that you gave him a name!”
He’s full of fluff and he doesn’t really talk,
He can’t stand by himself, he can’t even walk!
Squirrel still wasn’t convinced; he was real enough.
She was confident to call Squirmles bluff.
“Teddy is real; he loves me and has a heart,
We’ll be together forever, never a part.”
To Squirrel, Teddy was a real as real can be,
But Squirmles was right you see,
Her sister loved her teddy and that made him real,
But Teddy couldn’t really see, think or feel.
God gave us an imagination and made it fun,
But it’s still not real when it’s said and done.
He made people different, he made them real.
A mind to think, a soul to long, a heart to feel.
He made us different, to be like him,
To think, to love, to be a friend.
God gave us a soul to live on forever,
A promise that life with him will be better.
How did God make you different from other creations (a tree, an animal etc.)? Why did God make us different?
