“In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:6
Do you zig-zag when you walk,
Doing things you shouldn’t do?
Are you going away from God,
Doing what YOU want to do?
It is dangerous on that dark path.
It’s a path full of crying and lack.
It’s crooked with sin that break’s God’s heart
And you may not find your way back!
Jesus’ path is clean and simple.
He has made it straight and true.
He hung on a rugged cross
To make that path for you.
If you choose to follow Him,
If you give Him praise and honor,
He will make a straight path for you
And be your good, loving Father.
Fun Fact: When we make Jesus the Lord of our life, Jesus lives in us and gives us the power to stay on the right path.
Questions: What are some things you do when you get on your own crooked path? What does the word “acknowledge” mean? (praising the name of the person who helps you as you go about your day)
