Flora and Brandt like to run and play.
They jump and flip in the sun all day.
In autumn they play football on the lawn.
They run and tackle with their friends Kirby and Dawn.
In winter the friends play basketball at the gym.
They go to the indoor pool for a swim.
The friends keep busy having fun.
But they don’t always get along.
Sometimes Flora wants to ride bikes.
But Brandt wants to fish and take hikes.
When Flora builds forts and tanks
Brandt knocks them down just for pranks.
When the friends disagree and start to fight
Dad reminds them to do what is right.
“Remember to be kind and fair
Friends must be willing to forgive and share.”
Ephesians 4:32 says: “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”
Sometimes friends disagree, but it is important to apologize when we hurt them and we must forgive when they hurt us.
Do you sometimes disagree with your friends? When you argue, have your learned how to forgive?
