A little girl was having a sleepover with all of her friends. She was excited to spend time with her friends and she really wanted to play with all of them. When the friends got to the little girl’s house though, they wanted to play with her toys. The little girl didn’t want the other kids to play with her toys, she loved her toys and she didn’t want anyone else touching them.
Sometimes it is hard to share with others. Sometimes we just want to keep the things that we have and not let anyone else touch them. When we share though, we make God happy. God wants us to share. God wants us to show His love by letting other kids play with our toys and use things that are ours.
God has given us a lot of good things, and He wants us to be thankful for what we have. When we are thankful to God for what He has given to us, then we want to share what we have with other kids. When we take the time to remember that God has given us everything that we have, then we know that we should share all of that with other kids.
“But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.” Hebrews 13:16
