Some days are more boring than others. While going to a special place or having time with friends or family can get us excited about the day, there is a lot of good that happens in our lives even on the not so exciting ones. We need to be able to look around and see where God has blessed us, so that we can always be thanking and praising Him.
All over the world, there are families without homes. Do you have a home? Rejoice!
All over the world there are people with dirty water that makes them ill, and no food to eat. Do you have clean water and food? Rejoice!
All over the world there are children without loving parents or families. Do you have people that love you in your life? Rejoice!
“How do we rejoice?” you might ask.
It is simple really. We just thank God for what He has done. This can be done in prayer, through singing songs, or by talking to others about His goodness.
Psalm 118:24 – “This is the day the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
What can you rejoice in the Lord for today?
