Rahab was a woman who had a job that nobody wanted,
People spoke bad things about her and with fingers they pointed.
But God never looked down on her, He loved her always.
She was special to Him every day of the week, even on holidays!
Two men came begging for Rahab’s help, as loud as a stereo,
They were secret spies who journeyed to come see Jericho.
She could have treated them like others treated her,
But helping and protecting them was what she preferred.
She hid them on the roof between the stacks of hay,
So that they might be saved and live to see another day.
Then Rahab told the soldiers that they escaped through the gate,
They went chasing after the two, but they were already too late.
Rahab’s act of kindness saved their lives,
So that they were able to go home to their wives.
Just as how God used Rahab, He can use you too,
People may treat you bad, but God will always love you.
