It is a good thing to practice patience and control,
So, make being more patient your biggest goal.
Patience is a gift given to us by our Heavenly Father,
But we don’t always accept it with joy and laughter.
Job is a man from the Bible who practiced lots of patience,
Even when everyone around him was showing impatience.
He lost everything: his children, his house and his wealth,
He even lost lands and servants, but most of all, his health.
Still, Job stayed calm and continued to trust in God,
His patience was powerful and strong, it was not flawed.
We should all try to have patience like Job in hard times,
Especially when we’re angry, and are as sour as limes.
God loves it when we are patient, gentle and kind,
It is good for physical health as well as for the mind.
Start practicing patience today, and you will be loved for it.
Show others that you’re in control and that you won’t quit.

It was sad that Job lost everything. But in the end, God blessed him with twice as much! (Job 42:10-15)
When have you had to be patient? Did you have a hard time? What did you do?
