2 Chronicles 15:7 “I can’t do it! I’ll never get it right … ”
Squirmles was having trouble keeping the goal in sight.
She wanted to learn to ride her bike,
But after this falling she preferred her trike.
Pedaling and balancing was harder than it looked,
She’d thought it would be easy, like it looked in the book.
The pictures made it look fun and easy to do,
But here she was frustrated with her bike brand new.
“Get back on and give it another try.”
Her mom called gently from nearby.
“You can do it, just focus on your feet,
Push down, look up, and you’ll have it complete.”
“That’s too much to remember and too much know,
I’ll never get it, I’m pedaling too slow!”
Then her mom smiled, “I’ll come help steady.
I’ll only let go when you’re good and ready.”
Patience is the trick when learning new things.
Sometimes it’s hard. Oh but the joy it brings!
God just wants you to try and do your best,
If you do that, he’ll do the rest.
Have you ever been frustrated when learning something new?
Who do you talk to for encouragement when you get frustrated?
