“Suppose one of you has 100 sheep and loses one of them. He leaves the 99 in the wilderness and looks for the one that is lost until he finds it, doesn’t he? When he finds it, he puts it on his shoulders and rejoices. Then he goes home, calls his friends and neighbors together, and says to them, ‘Rejoice with me, because I’ve found my lost sheep!’ “ Luke 15:4-6
One day Jesus brought home his beloved sheep.
He began to count, 1, 2, 3 … 99 What! This cannot be!
So He counted his sheep once again, 1, 2, 3 … 99!
Oh, my, OH my! I have lost one of My sheep.
I must not stop until I find that lost sheep.
So He went out and he searched
In the hills and by the rivers. He looked high and low.
Finally, He spotted His lone sheep cowering in the grass;
He ran up and hugged his sheep. He was so glad He found it!
Have you ever felt lost, like you can’t find Jesus? Do you know someone who is lost from Jesus? How can you help bring them to Jesus? How many lost sheep do you want Jesus to find?
