God made the resources that put food on your table.
Your parents will cook for you, as long as their able.
But the food provided doesn’t always go in your mouth,
Most times it takes a nose dive in the garbage down south.
Wasting your food is such a very serious matter,
Never throw away food being served on a platter.
If your tummy is full, you can leave some for later.
If you’re at a restaurant, get a doggie-bag from the waiter.
Safely store your leftovers, then reheat and put it on a plate,
Just make sure you eat it all before the expiry date.
You may not like veggies, but they’re good for you,
So you don’t have to take a lot, instead take a few.
Whatever you do, don’t throw good food in the trash,
Doing so will waste resources and your parents’ cash.
Throwing food away should make you feel sad,
Since there’s hungry children who wish they had.
Jesus doesn’t want you to waste all the lovely food He created,
He even told His disciples to save leftovers so nothing gets wasted.
