Have you ever met the kind of kid whose life is all about God? Do you know some kids either in your school or your church who can’t stop talking about God? Are there kids in your life who really want to love those around them and try to do that all the time? Maybe those are kids who feel that they have done some bad things in their life and who are especially grateful for the forgiveness that God has shown them.
The Bible says those who have been forgiven for a lot, are more likely to be grateful for the forgiveness that they have received, and they will then be more likely to love those around them.
When you feel as if God has forgiven you for much, and you feel like you don’t deserve the forgiveness that He has given you, then you live in a different way, in a grateful way. Those who feel that they have always done what is right and that they hardly need God’s forgiveness, are not as likely to love others and treat them in the way that God wants them to treat them.
You should choose to love others in the way that God wants you to, because God has done much for you by forgiving you.
Luke 7:47 “Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.”
What has God forgiven you for? How can you share that love and forgiveness with others?
