In Luke, humble shepherds sought a special child.

His father, Joseph, hid him from a cruel and wicked king.
Herod looked, and looked but did not find a thing.
In the Gospels we find Jesus hanging on a cross.
We find a crown of thorns; we see the friends’ great loss.
They sought the body of Jesus but found an empty tomb.
And they would know the secret very, very soon!
Apostle Peter was in jail and an angel found him there.
