Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Romans 12:10
“How can she be so mean?”
Squirrel said, judging off what she had seen.
“There was no need to be so rude,
To cut in line to get her food.”
Squirmles and Squirrel were at school you see,
And had just witnessed a “bully”.
There was no excuse for that they thought,
But what they didn’t know was a lot.
The “bully” they thought they saw,
Wasn’t a bully, no not at all.
They made judgement on what they could see,
But they didn’t know the background story.
The bully they saw that had been rude,
Lived in a home with little food.
School lunch was her biggest meal she would eat,
She was only in hurry to grab a seat.
Judging others is easy to do,
But it’s important to seek out what’s true.
Someone may seem rude or mean,
But stop and think about the unseen.
God calls us not to judge others,
But to remember in Christ we are sister and brothers.
Love one another and extend God’s love,
It’s a gift to all from above.
- Have you ever judge someone off their actions without knowing the whole story?
- How would you feel if people judged you off your actions?
