Did you know that the Bible talks about the dangers of being alone? We can see the importance of teamwork and community in Jesus’ example. Jesus chose his 12 disciples, also called apostles, to work alongside of him as he ministered to the world. After Jesus returned to heaven, the apostles went into many different, far away places and told as many people as they could about Jesus.
We have many people that we know. It’s important to share Jesus’ love with our friends, neighbors, classmates and anyone we meet. Its also very important to spend time with other people that believe in and worship Jesus, because this makes us stronger and closer to God.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!” Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
Who can you tell about Jesus this week? Is there some special group of friends that you can join or form to grow closer to God?
