“When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?” Psalm 8:3-4
Frustrated Squirrel turned off her light,
She religiously prayed every night.
She longed to hear God or better yet see,
But every night it was the same old story.
“Where is God? Is He really there?
I pray a prayer … just words in the air.
Does He hear me? Does He know my name?
I feel like every night is just the same.”
Sometimes spending time with God is hard to do,
It feels like you’re alone, only talking to you.
It’s hard to imagine a God up above,
Listen and hearing, watching with love.
But it’s easier than you think to see God every day,
He is right around you in every way.
The Bible is a great way to read and learn more,
But God also tells us to look and explore.
Just sit in his creation and enjoy what He’s made,
Everything around you–God lay.
Nothing happens but chance or coincidence,
It’s all here to glorify His presence.
The birds wouldn’t chirp if He didn’t command,
The mountains would crumble and couldn’t stand.
The oceans with dry if He didn’t keep them filled,
Things only happen if it’s His will.
Do you get frustrated that you can’t “see” God?
What are some ways you can see God?
