Eyes so beautiful and so kind,
She cries with me in the lows and the highs.
Shoulders so soft yet so very strong,
They can be cried on, slept on, and carried on.
Arms never too tired to give me hugs.
And when I’m scared of the monsters and bugs.
Hands that know just when to grab hold.
And know when it’s the time to let me go.
A mind filled with wonderful things,
Stories and tales only wisdom can bring.
A smile which always warms my heart,
And whose kiss can make all the pain depart.
A heart bigger than the world can hold,
Filled with something better than silver and gold.
A thick skin when harsh words I give,
Seventy times seven she does forgive.
God gave me the best He could give,
God gave me you to help me live.
