Do you feel like you need to be good in order for God to love you? Do you ever feel like you have to pretend to be good in order to talk to God? God sees you all the time: when you are being good and when you are not being good, and He loves you all the time. Yes, God wants you to be a good person and to try to do good things for Him, but He loves you even when you don’t.
God loves us even when we aren’t doing the things He wants us to do, and His love never changes. God loves us no matter what. God loves us when we take a toy away from a friend and He loves us when we help our mom make supper. God loves us when we keep our room clean and He loves us when we fight. God loves us no matter what. He loves us always.
Isn’t it great to know that there is someone who loves us no matter what we do? Isn’t it nice to know that you are loved even when you are grumpy or not being nice?”
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
How do you feel knowing that God loves you no matter what? Does it make you want to obey Him and be good?
