God wants you to know that He wants to know you.
In the Bible, the four books in the New Testament that tell us about Jesus’ life: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, all say that Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:14).
God loves children because they are very smart about believing in God and they trust Him like you do. Adults can learn from children’s love for God. God made you and He wants you to talk to Him. Any words you say to God are a prayer, and anytime you need God you can pray and He hears you right away. So say your prayers at bedtime thanking God for the day and night. Thank God, also, for the food and clothes He gives you. And sometimes just say, “God, I love you!” He loves that prayer!
What do you pray about to God? What are you most thankful for?
