“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age.” Titus 2:11-12
God loves us so! He forgives sin.
When we ask, He will make our hearts right!
Then He helps us live closer to Him,
To walk not in darkness–but light!
He covers our fear with His great arms
He holds us–our Father and Friend!
He brings peace to all our alarms,
He speaks and we listen to Him.
He trains us to live just like He lived.
He’ll teach each boy and each girl.
All that He shows us will help us to live
With our eyes fixed on Him, not the world!
He trains us to be how He wants us to be
So we can help others be strong!
His Spirit helps us to be self-controlled
And to recognize right from wrong.
His grace is the answer to all our sad times
He forgives and forgets our bad ways,
His grace says, “I know you inside and out,”
And, “I love you, my child, anyway!”
As we grow stronger, we learn to speak truth,
And stand for all that is right!
God’s perfect love lets us be bold
And shine forth God’s grace in our lives!
Fun Fact: The Lord gives us His grace as we grow closer to Him so we can be more like Him, giving grace to others!
