2 Corinthians 10:5 ” … and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”
Today, I was playing with some of my friends from down the street;
Someone said a really bad word and my other friends seemed to think it was pretty neat.
For a few minutes I thought they might think I was cool if I said it too.
Then I remembered it is not something Jesus would want me to do!
Matthew 6:36 says, ” … men will have to give account on the day of judgement for every careless word they’ve spoken.”
I then changed my mind, said a prayer to myself, and thanked God this was a time when His Law wasn’t broken.
I also thought about my friend and asked God to forgive the bad word.
I look forward to sharing more about God so better words can be said and heard!
