“Mom! Judah keeps asking me, ‘Why?’ He is driving me crazy!” Maggie was tired of her little brother’s questions.
Her mother smiled and patted Judah’s back. “Maggie, did you know that God has great answers in store for those who are curious enough to ask Him? Maybe Judah is practicing how he will ask God about life and heaven on you! Your little brother must think you are very wise.”
Maggie was quiet. She didn’t know that God wanted to answer questions. “What can I ask God, Mom? Can I ask Him why Judah has brown hair and I have blonde hair?”
Her mother laughed. “Yes, Maggie dear. Ask God ANYTHING. And He will find a way to help you get an answer. Just be patient. God’s answers don’t always come as fast as our own.”
Maggie was grateful. The next time her brother asked her, “Why?” she planned to answer with, “Why don’t we pray and ask God?”
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7
What are you curious about? Can you ask God about it, or read about it in the Bible?
