“I will never leave you” (Hebrews 13:5b).
Did you know you have a Bible verse that’s on your hand?
Each finger stands for just for one word, so hold them like a fan.
Begin with the smallest finger standing for the first word, “I.”
This word speaks for God Himself and soon you’ll know just why.
Your ring finger is the weakest one but its word is “will.”
So hold it up and look at it and make it stand real still.
Your middle finger–the tallest one–will say the word, “never.”
And if the Bible says it, you can know it means not ever.
Pointer is the finger that says the word “leave.”
Don’t ever doubt this promise, always believe!
God never leaves his children; on that you can depend.
He’s there for our beginning and will be there to the end!
Point your thumb toward yourself and let it say “You!”
And you will have the Bible verse, so learn and say it too!
Wherever you go you carry it and never leave it behind,
And when you want to share it, it won’t be hard to find!
Fun fact: When you see the letter “b” in the address of the verse (such as Hebrews 13:5b), you will know the part you say or read is the last part of the verse.
